Gabriel Montes

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Gabriel was always intrigued by the idea of learning how to fly and becoming a professional pilot. His grandfather was an aircraft mechanic and so he was always around aircrafts and helicopters growing up. That led to the wish of learning how to fly, a wish that turned into a passion and it wasn’t until 2021 when Gabriel had the opportunity to start his official flight training. Prior to joining aviation full time, Gabriel earned his bachelor's degree in political science with a concentration in American Policy and Politics from the University of Central Florida. After graduating in 2015, he went on to work in mental health for six years, as a psychosocial rehabilitation therapist and a targeted case manager. Now, Gabriel works on sharing his passion and knowledge for airplanes, flying, and safety with others.
