Peter Forde Sanchez

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Peter Forde Sanchez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Since he was a little kid, he has always been passionate about aviation. His career started in August 2018 at the Interamerican University of Bayamon, where he completed his Private Pilot certificate in his first year and then transitioned to the mainland United States after Hurricane Maria devasted the island to continue his pursuit of becoming a career track pilot at Epic Flight Academy in 2020. During the year Peter spent at Epic as a flight student, he completed his Instrument rating, Commercial single-engine certificate, CFI and CFII. He also earned a degree in Aeronautics with a minor in Aviation Law at Embry Riddle University in Daytona. 

Peter started his instructing career teaching the next generation of pilots at Epic flight academy in New Smyrna. After gaining enough experience teaching at Epic, he started searching for better opportunities to advance his knowledge as a pilot and made the move into his current CFI position at Flight Training Professionals. He believes that teaching has become a great learning experience, and will continue to pay it forward to every student he teaches.
